This training seminar provides an overview of First-Amendment Auditors, their tendencies and tactics, and followed by a review of the Sovereign Citizens’ movement and ideology. Using current examples of the Sovereign Citizens movement in practice, attendees will gain an appreciation and understanding of the challenges facing Law Enforcement Officers during traffic stops and encounters with individuals who portray themselves as “sovereign”, “freemen”, and/or “travelers” and who believe they are exempt from Federal and State laws.
Instructor: Francis O’Brien, Strategic Intelligence Analyst, MAGLOCLEN
Francis is a former Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Officer and current Strategic Intelligence Analyst with MAGLOCLEN. Since beginning his career at MAGLOCLEN, Francis has specialized in the high-level analysis of the Sovereign Citizen movement, ideology, and encounters with law enforcement. He has attended numerous related trainings and conferences throughout the United States and has presented to Law Enforcement agencies throughout the MAGLOCLEN Region to share his knowledge, experience, and expertise on this topic.
